OMEGA® Innovation & Tech
From thermally efficient frames to precision-manufactured hardware, every detail is engineered for performance, durability, and ease of use. Using advanced manufacturing techniques and rigorous testing, we continually push the boundaries of what windows and doors can achieve.
The result is a range of products that not only look exceptional but also perform reliably for years, giving homeowners confidence and comfort in every OMEGA® system.
A non-conductive barrier separates the internal and external aluminium sections, interrupting the path heat would otherwise take through the frame. This reduces heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer, giving more stable indoor temperatures and lower demand on heating and cooling systems.
The break runs continuously through the outer frame, sliding panels, and interlockers — not just the perimeter. Partially broken systems leave conductive pathways at the meeting rails and sashes, which undermines the performance of the frame as a whole.
Because the internal face of the frame stays closer to room temperature, it is less likely to fall below dew point. That reduces moisture forming on glass and frames, and with it the risk of mould, staining, sill damage, and ongoing maintenance.
The thermal break is engineered into the extrusion rather than applied to it, so spans, hardware compatibility, and sightlines match standard aluminium joinery. Durability and clean lines are retained without the bulk associated with alternative framing materials.
