Sustainability
Every OMEGA® system is 100% designed and manufactured in New Zealand, which means lower transport emissions, strong local supply chains, and products that are specifically tested and proven for New Zealand conditions. By keeping our operations close to home, we not only reduce environmental impact but also support local jobs and communities.
Our focus on waste minimisation and process control ensures we use aluminium more efficiently, reducing scrap and avoiding unnecessary resource use. Any scrap generated on-site are recycled in our remelt furnace. When imports are required, we source billet from trusted partners such as Tiwai point in Southland, maintaining a clear and responsible supply chain.
Working closely with McKechnie Aluminium Solutions, we are leading the way towards a lower-carbon built environment. Combined with the superior energy effiecient technology of our thermally broken systems, OMEGA® Windows and Doors are designed to make homes more comfortable while reducing energy demand for decades to come.
Every OMEGA® system is designed and manufactured locally, which cuts transport emissions and shortens the supply chain. It also means products tested against New Zealand conditions rather than adapted from overseas designs, while supporting local jobs and communities.
Waste minimisation and tight process control reduce scrap across manufacturing, and any scrap generated on site is recycled through our own remelt furnace. Where billet must be imported, it is sourced from trusted partners including Tiwai Point in Southland, keeping the supply chain transparent and accountable.
Working closely with McKechnie Aluminium Solutions, we are helping move the New Zealand building sector towards lower-carbon materials — addressing the embodied carbon in the frame itself, not just the performance of the finished window.
Thermally broken systems reduce the energy a home needs for heating and cooling across its whole lifespan. Durable aluminium joinery that doesn't need replacing is itself a sustainability outcome — the lowest-impact window is the one that stays in the wall.
